Information you provide
Opsell collects the business-profile and contact information you submit through the opportunity review, such as your name, company, role, location, website, email, industry, company scale, operating history, approximate data footprint, record language and high-level descriptions of where business information is kept. Buyer inquiries also collect organization, role, data category or use case, preferred geography, approximate volume and timeline, and any additional high-level information you choose to provide.
No company datasets
The assessment is not designed to collect operational datasets, customer lists, confidential documents or access credentials. Please do not submit those materials through the website.
How information is used
Submitted information is used to evaluate potential fit, prepare an internal qualification brief, contact you about the review or sourcing inquiry and improve the website experience. Opsell may use service providers that support website hosting, storage and communications.
Buyer engagement
Completing the assessment does not authorize Opsell to share your company profile with an AI lab, intermediary data buyer or other prospective transaction party. Opsell seeks separate permission before engaging a specific buyer on your company's behalf.
Processing in a partnership
No company files are required for initial qualification. Before sensitive data is shared, the relevant parties agree on applicable privacy, confidentiality, de-identification, processing and transfer requirements. Responsibilities may be assigned to the enterprise, AI lab, intermediary buyer or authorized technical service providers under the applicable agreements. Opsell does not guarantee that every dataset will be anonymized or independently perform de-identification.
Website analytics
Opsell records limited interaction events—such as page views, assessment starts and completed steps—to understand whether the website is working effectively. These events are not company datasets.
Retention and choices
Information may be retained while Opsell evaluates the opportunity and for reasonable business, security and recordkeeping needs. You may email partnerships@opsell.io to request that information be corrected or deleted, subject to applicable obligations.
Important boundary
This notice describes Opsell's website and qualification process. Any approved engagement, whether directly with an AI lab or through a data intermediary, is governed by the applicable transaction agreements and privacy information. These identify authorized parties and providers, permitted use and processing responsibilities.
